Hopi Tribe, Navajo County, Navajo Nation, Arizona Division of Emergency and the Incident Command Team, the National Guard as well as Coconino County and Apache County partner to address aftermath of sever winter storm that entered Navajo County on January 18, 2010.
The Hopi Tribe, Navajo Nation, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), and Navajo County helped the Hopi Tribe
apply for the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) Grant which was
funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Large rock slide occurred on the Hopi Tribe Reservation on State Route 264 at milepost 323.7. Hopi Tribe and Arizona Department of Transportation work together to clean up the roadway.
